Alopecia areata before and after FSE stem cell–based regenerative therapy

Case Details

Serial clinical photographs of alopecia areata before and after FSE stem cell–based regenerative therapy.

(Before) Baseline photograph demonstrates multiple sharply demarcated patches of non-scarring alopecia over the parietal and occipital scalp, consistent with active alopecia areata. The alopecic areas show marked thinning with reduced hair density.

(After) Follow-up photograph obtained several weeks after FSE stem cell therapy shows substantial regrowth of terminal and vellus hairs within previously bald patches, with noticeably improved hair density and more uniform scalp coverage compared with baseline.
